Wayfinder Waikiki is a 228-room boutique hotel set in the heart of vibrant Waikīkī with views of the Ala Wai canal and Ko‘olau mountains. The property offers an escape to a hidden oasis where Brutalism meets tropical greenery.
Designed by Honolulu-based studio The Vanguard Theory, the interiors honor the building’s Brutalist roots while introducing tropical touches, bold colors, layered patterns, and lush island foliage. The design-centric guest rooms reflect Hawai‘i’s sites, stories, and heritage through land, sky, and water-inspired color palettes, geometric and floral prints, and custom natural fiber furnishings. Celebrating the rich diversity and multicultural fabric of Hawai‘i, touches of local Hawai‘i heritage, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Filipino and European details are all blended together.
The property features a 70-foot saltwater lagoon pool; Lost + Found, a tropical speakeasy pool bar; B-Side, a sensory coffee shop and retail space; and Redfish, the beloved Foodland concept serving fresh, made-to-order poke and other locally inspired dishes.
