ABOUT THE SETTING
The Hawai‘i State Art Museum (HiSAM) and outdoor Sculpture Garden is a free contemporary art museum in the Capitol District of Honolulu. Its galleries are home to many works of art from the Art in Public Places Collection; it serves as a peaceful oasis in downtown and popular lunch spot (thanks to Artizen by MW). During the free public evening and weekend events the museum features live music, fashion shows and artist talks and demonstrations.
