Monsignor Charles A. Kekumano Award Dinner
Master Navigator Nainoa Thompson was the honored guest at the Monsignor Charles A. Kekumano Award & Scholarship Dinner. The event, which celebrated its 20th anniversary, presents the Noblisse Oblige Award for Service, which was created in memory of Monsignor Charles A. Kekumano, to a person who exemplifies Maryknoll’s motto, which means “To whom much is given, much is expected.” Attendees enjoyed a cocktail hour, silent and live auctions and a three-course dinner. Proceeds from the event benefit the Maryknoll Kekumano Scholarship Endowment Fund.
