AIR TRAVEL
As we all step back into the world beyond our own shores, Hawaiian Airlines is there to help make that experience an exceptional one. The airline welcomes travelers back with expanded routes, comprehensive health and safety measures and added amenities.
In addition to journeying back to friends and family throughout the islands, Hawaiian Air has opened its trans-Pacific routes and added a few more, including more destinations for the Valley Isle: daily flights to Long Beach and four flights a week to Phoenix. Additional destinations for Honolulu include five weekly flights to Ontario, twice-weekly flights to the “Live Music Capital of the World,” Austin, Texas and—the news that will have Disney fanatics everywhere rejoicing— twice-weekly flights to Orlando.
The airline has also enhanced its cleaning procedures and its employees are trained to assist passengers in minimizing the risk of any exposure to illness. This includes face mask requirements, disinfecting cabins after each trans-Pacific flight and modified boarding and deplaning procedures.
Hawaiian Airlines continues its popular Featured Chef Series with the appointment of executive chefs Wade Ueoka and Michelle Karr-Ueoka. The husband-and-wife team, owners of Honolulu’s MW Restaurant and Artizen, will oversee the program’s menus for First Class meals for inbound flights from the U.S. mainland and cabin menus offered for flights between Hawai‘i and Japan, Australia and New Zealand and outbound flights to South Korea.
