Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin, a dynamic husband-and-wife duo, are trailblazers in the realm of luxury jewelry. Over 14 years ago, they embarked on their entrepreneurial journey by establishing their eponymous brand in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, starting humbly in their own garage. Their inaugural creation, the iconic Galaxy rings, boasted an innovative design with interconnected, handcrafted bands, offering a versatility that ignited the imagination of jewelry enthusiasts worldwide. 

“Connected circles. It’s very minimal. For someone who studied jewelry, this is about the simplest thing you can do,” Spinelli says. “It’s like you become an engineer to build BMWs and you decide to make a push wagon (laughs). But being that rudimentary, you have to be very precise and refined in the design; you want everything to be cohesive.” It was this simple design that marked the genesis of a remarkable odyssey characterized by innovation and the masterful manipulation of precious metals. 

Spinelli’s early foray into jewelry making during his formative years at Punahou School hinted at the path he would ultimately tread. His background in fashion and retail provided a solid foundation upon which to build his vision of a distinctive jewelry line. Today, Spinelli Kilcollin commands a global presence, with their creations adorning discerning clients through prestigious platforms such as Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi. Spinelli Kilcollin also has a showroom in New York City and plans to open its own boutique on the ground floor towards the middle of this year.
