March of Dimes Hawaii awarded its Franklin Delano Roosevelt Award for Distinguished Community Service to Longs Drugs/CVS health at its recent Governors’ Ball. Honolulu Star-Advertiser president and publisher, Dennis Francis, and Honolulu Star-Advertiser chief revenue officer, Dave Kennedy, served as co-chairs for this year’s Governors’ Ball, which raises money to support the organization’s commitment to improving the health of babies and ensuring all mothers have healthy pregnancies.
