The Kapalua Wine & Food Festival kicked off its decadent weekend of gastronomy with its main event, “The Grand Tasting – Kapalua Style.” The evening celebration, sponsored by Hawaii.com, invites guests to soak in the beauty of Montage Kapalua Bay’s oceanfront grounds while sipping on a variety of fine wines. The food, of course, included gourmet walk-around tasting tables from establishments like Merriman’s Kapalua and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, and offered everything from caviar and oysters to gourmet cheeses and foie gras.
