Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival
The Rainbow Film Festival, produced by the Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation (HGLCF), held its signature red carpet event at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Luce Pavilion. The festivities acted as a crowning event to the to the film festival, which boasted 20 screenings at the Doris Duke Theatre. The red carpet event, presented by Bank of Hawai‘i, was an all-evening affair featuring bites from Rum Fire Waikiki, 12th Ave Grill, Bills Sydney, Baker & Butcher, Chef Chai, FreshBOX, P.F. Chang’s, Roy’s Waikiki and a hosted bar by Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand. This year marked the 28th year of the festival, which is one of the longest-running LGBT film festivals in the country.
