The Waialae Ballroom at The Kahala Hotel & Resort was abuzz during the 2017 Hawaii Invitational of Polo Players Welcome Reception in September. Presented by Cartier, some of the world’s best polo players mingled with Hawai‘i’s who’s who for an evening of cocktails, wine and delicious bites expertly prepared by executive chef Wayne Hirabayashi. Hawaii Polo Life founder Chris Dawson introduced the polo team selection during the celebration as well as gave a heartfelt mahalo to everyone who helped make this first annual event a huge success.
