August Moon

Honolulu Museum of Art‘s annual wine and food summer event for art education, August Moon, will feature more than 30 winemakers from around the world (like Napa, Argentina, Italy and Washington), food from O’ahu’s most talented chefs and restaurants and “Drawn Out”—live drawing by some of Hawai’i’s best artists and the opportunity to purchase the work that evening. Proceeds from August Moon will directly support the Honolulu Museum of Art’s art education programs such as children access classes, activities and school tours. Some of the restaurants and chefs participating include Chef Chai, Chef Mavro, 12th Avenue Grill, Koko Head Cafe, Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman, Morimoto Waikiki, Pili Group, The Pig & The Lady, Grondin French Latin Kitchen and more. “Drawn Out” artists include Andrea Charuk, Ualani Davis, Marika Emi, Ryan Higa, Heather Matsuura, Cody Naganuma, Maya Portner, Cade Roster, Lisa Shiroma and more. Tickets are still available!
