The clock struck 12 at American Cancer Society’s twilight Hope Gala Honolulu, “Midnight in Tokyo.” Draped in vintage Japanese and aloha attire, guests voyaged to Japan for American Cancer Society’s second annual benefit at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum. Fête high points entailed orient themed entertainment, including musical selections from “Midnight in Tokyo” performed by Hawai‘i-born Broadway star Mahi‘ai Kekumu, sake tasting and live and silent auctions.
