Specially designed for underwater diving, swimming and other aquatic activities, divers or scuba watches can be as elegant as they are functional.

Unlike more functional counterparts for the serious diver, stores such as Louis Vuitton, Burberry and Cartier offer luxurious water-resistant timepieces that can be worn from office to ocean.

Burberry’s latest contribution to the divers watch is The Surf, a functional sports timepiece designed for comfort and practicality. The Surf has two features essential to diver watches, including a tachymeter, which is a scale inscribed many times around the rim of the watch used to compute speed based on travel time, or measure distance based on speed. The watch also has a diving bezel function, which is a rotating dial on its face with a pointer indicator. When you are ready to descend, you align the bezel with the minute hand, where it stays for the duration of the dive.

Louis Vuitton’s Tambour is an elegant timepiece that combines modern design with innovative features thanks to its unidirectional rotating flange. Its bright, luminescent colors, the indexes, the hands and the flange give Tambour Diving a harmonious allure. The rubber strap reinterprets the Damier pattern and signs the discreet and timeless spirit of Tambour. And to further accommodate the diver, an extra length to wear the watch over a diving suit is offered.

The 21 Choronoscaph watch is among Cartier’s newest fashions for the stylish ocean lover. The timepiece, which sports Cartier’s signature double C motif, adds functionality with its rubber-and- stainless-steel bracelet.
